Comic Book School has provides experiential learning for people who want to learn how to make comic books by actually making comic books. Our multi-award-winning anthologies feature new talent, rising talent, and established creators all under the same cover.
Our “Creator Connections” series of anthologies help creators through a standardized learning program to create and publish and 8-page story, which is a common format for backup stories in mainstream comics. This guided learning is enhanced by real-world examples from working comic book professionals, including Comic Book School founder Buddy Scalera, a writer for Marvel Comics.
No experience is required to participate in this free course. Creators maintain their ownership of their stories, their characters, and their intellectual property (IP). The anthologies are free for download on the Comic Book School website, so that participants are able to share their work and be discovered.
