Visual Storytelling: Creators Demonstrate Page Breakdown
Learn how to structure a complete comic book page from beginning to end. Pace, panel breakdown, and story arc discussed by professional writers, artists, and colorists who work for mainstream publishers like Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse, & more. Learn how to improve your sequential art storytelling by watching top creators brainstorm on the page. Creators will be using markers by Marvy/Uchida. Hosted by Buddy Scalera of Comic Book School.

Featuring the talents of artist Sean Chen (Wolverine, Iron Man), artist/writer Jerry Ordway (Superman, Shazam), colorist Paul Mounts (Harley Quinn), and writer/editor Fabian Nicieza (Deadpool, Valiant).

Plotting to Pencils: Sequential Art & Visual Storytelling
See a demonstration of exactly how real professional artists break down a script and thumbnail a comic book page. Listen to writers and editors discuss the challenges of panel-to-panel visual storytelling. Actual working pros show how to lay out the story flow and specific sequential panels from a real comic book script. Featuring the talents of artist Terry Dodson (Wonder Woman, X-Men), Jim Calafiore (Aquaman, Surviving Megalopolis), Joe Rybandt (Dynamite), and colorist Paul Mounts (Harley Quinn).
