About Mike Dolce of Sire Studios

Michael Dolce is a writer, artist, podcaster and web guru whose 20 year career has seen him working from behind the scenes to the forefront of the comic industry.

Debuting in 2002 with his self-published title Crossfire: The Beginning, Dolce quickly found work as a research assistant and website editor for Wizard Entertainment, where he would remain for three years.

Heeding the call of comic creation, Dolce struck out with artist Daniel Leister to develop the independent superhero comic book The Sire in 2006. Critical praise for the title and its later follow-up, The Sire: Revelations, led the two to ZenoScope Entertainment, where they would contribute to the company’s Grimm’s Fairy Tales and Return to Wonderland series. Dolce went on to collaborate with filmmaker Marcus Perry and artist Mariano Navarro to produce the creator-owned series Descendant at Image Comics.

Michael has since taken to exploring the digital world of comics, successfully crowdfunding his project The Undone via Kickstarter and launching his weekly comic book radio show and podcast Secrets of The Sire. Available on YouTube, the show has seen notable entertainment guests such as Chris Cornell, Kevin Bacon and Paul Reiser.

Today, Michael runs Sire Studios, a multi-genre IP production company slated to release a number of entertainment projects in the near future. He also owns his own web development and marketing firm, MBD Studios Inc.
