From Wikipedia
Tom Peyer is an American comic book creator and editor. He is known for his 1999 revisioning of Golden Age super-hero Hourman, as well as his work on the Legion of Super-Heroes in the 1990s. An editor at DC Comics/Vertigo from 1987 to 1993, he served as assistant editor on Neil Gaiman’s Sandman. Peyer has also worked for Marvel Comics, Wildstorm, and Bongo Comics. With John Layman, he wrote the 2007–2009 Tek Jansen comic book, based on the Stephen Colbert character.

From Tom’s bio on AHOY Comics
This slope-shouldered industry veteran was a long-running writer on DC’s Legion of Super-Heroes, a founding editor at their Vertigo imprint, and the proud writer of their worst-selling, award-losing series Hourman.

He has since written enough major characters to fill one of those hyper-populated super-hero posters where you don’t know who to look at first.

Today he happily writes and edits AHOY Comics from his Ditkoesque office in Downtown Syracuse, NY.

About Jamal Igle
https://comicsahoy.com/creator/jamal-igle

Jamal Igle is an American writer, comic book illustrator, editor and animation storyboard artist whose experiences have taken him all across the field of sequential arts. The 30+ year industry veteran began his career at the age of 17, when his time at the High School of Art and Design led him to a chance internship with DC Comics.

Following his passion, Igle studied at New York City’s School of Visual Arts, after which he would hone his talents in advertising agencies, small comic publishers and even the field of animation, contributing storyboards to series such as Max Steel and Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles with Sony Animation.

Entering the world of mainstream comics with a four-issue run on New Warriors for Marvel Comics, Jamal’s detail-rich pencils would come to grace the pages of G.I. Joe, Iron Man, Spider-Man and Green Lantern. He has been a series mainstay for household DC Comics names such as Nightwing, Firestorm, Zatanna and Supergirl. His run on Supergirl with fellow writer Sterling Gates is in particular credited as a major inspiration for The CW’s 2015 Supergirl television series.

A recipient of the 2011 Inkpot Award for outstanding achievement in Comic Art, Jamal currently works in the world of independent comics, lending his talent and experience to titles such as the critically acclaimed miniseries Black and his creator-owned graphic novel series, Molly Danger.

About AHOY Comics (from their website)
AHOY Comics debuted in the fall of 2018 with the bold promise for readers to expect more from its line of comic book magazines, featuring comic book stories, poetry, prose fiction, and cartoons. The independent, Syracuse-based company is the brainchild of publisher Hart Seely, an award-winning reporter whose humor and satire has appeared in The New York Times and on National Public Radio. AHOY’s editor-in-chief Tom Peyer is committed to publishing comics with a (dark) sense of humor with titles like the religious satires SECOND COMING and HIGH HEAVEN, the superhero parodies THE WRONG EARTH and HASHTAG: DANGER, the sci-fi spoof CAPTAIN GINGER, the time travel tales PLANET OF THE NERDS and BRONZE AGE BOOGIE, and the humor/horror anthology series EDGAR ALLAN POE’S SNIFTER OF BLOOD.
